Daily Devotional for August 19, 2021

“I stay awake through the night, thinking about your promise.” Psalms‬ ‭119:148‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Even though we follow Christ and desire to BE more like Him, we must REmember that we are of flesh and human. Osteen says, yes, at times worry will come, at times fear will come, doubt will come, but we cannot allow it to stay. As with the faith heroes in the bible, he encourages us to stir our faith back up and believe the promise will happen. As a dear friend would say to me as I was going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), feel what you need to feel, but don’t stay in it. This life brings some low seasons, and everyday won’t be sunshiny, but JOY will still come if we allow it and seek it.

Leviticus 27

We learn from Leviticus 27 that if you plan to give, give freely, for the value you see in something may be assessed by a different measure in Christ.

REflections from Sharing Your Faith

This morning’s devotional by Youversion encourages us to tell our story, our testimony of what we have experienced firsthand in faith with Christ. Whether one or the masses, this is something that we can give of freely that can impact others’ lives.

Psalms 68:19

There is no other who is always with us, lifts us, and sees us through. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

There’s no other this Thursday, my friend.
