Daily Devotional for September 7, 2020

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:24‬ ‭

Let us not focus on where we’ve BEen and where He will lead. May we REmain in the now, only striving to take the next step towards our destiny.

Ecclesiastes 6

May we live in the moment with no REgrets, enJOYing each day and every opportunity we are blessed to live and live freely. “God gives some people wealth, possessions and honor, so that they lack nothing their hearts desire, but God does not grant them the ability to enjoy them, and strangers enjoy them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭6:2‬). May we REalize the blessings BEstowed upon us by the Father to live our BEst lives and give freely while we have the opportunity.

As we live and give, may we BE mindful of the advice from Steve Repak’s devotional which encourages us to prepare for our future as financial stewards. “Understand that when you save for your retirement, not for selfish enjoyment of a lavish life after years of hard work, and not even for self-sufficiency since our dependence is always on God, your goal is to exercise godly wisdom in providing for your needs in future years and having enough to continue giving to others.” When we give it shall BE given unto us. Give freely from the heart, and give freely to your future.

Matthew 11:28

When your mind, body, and/or soul grows tired, REst in the Father and leave the burdens to him to lift them from you. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
