Daily Devotional for September 8, 2020
“A person’s days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed.” Job 14:5
Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” As my sister said the other day, everything in this life is cyclical; all things must run its course, to include difficult seasons. However, as Osteen shares, of we stay on track and do what’s right, we will see the end come to pass, for with trouble and difficulty, it won’t last always, and it will all work together for our good.
Ecclesiastes 7
Experience is a good teacher. As we travel along our JOurneY of glorious adventure, may we grow from our trials and triumphs, our ups and our downs. For “Wisdom, like an inheritance.... Wisdom is a shelter...but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.” (Ecclesiastes 7:11-12 )
Let us continue to trust our Father with everything, to include the fruits of our labor, for everything BElongs to Him. Even with our finances, may we trust God and challenge ourselves to become better. As written by Steve Repak, “God’s desire for us is to flourish and to love Him with all of my heart and soul. Many times, we expect to reap as soon as we sow, but...it takes challenging ourselves each and every day and not giving up.” Take one more step today than you did yesterday, pressing towards the mark.
Exodus 14:14
May we use our energy to forge ahead and not fight. As we come up against battles, we only have to BE silent and pray, and our Father will slay. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Tread along your trail to triumph this Tuesday, my friend.
