Daily Devotional for December 22, 2020
“Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.” Joshua 21:45 NIV
Think about this: God has never lost a battle and He’s never failed. So, why would we ever BElieve that His streak would end with us? We are His children and He loves us; moreover He promises to prosper us and not to harm us. As Osteen says. “Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen... .Everything you need is already in your future...what God promises you He still has every intention of bringing it to past.” My sister and brother, hold fast to His promises to fulfill and REst assured that your latter will BE greater and your BEst is yet to come, for you ain’t seen nothing yet! Greater is coming! Keep the faith.
Jeremiah 16
REmember that God is a god of REstoration. He gives us opportunities, time and time to BEgin again. On this day, and even as we prepare to enter into 2021, let us REmember that His promises of a second chance in Jeremiah 16:21, “Therefore I will teach them— this time I will teach them my power and might. Then they will know that my name is the Lord.” If we have not REalized His power and might with all we have experienced, we need to get REady, for with our faith and His promises to fulfill, He’s going to blow our minds. Get REady for 2021 is already won!
REflections from Waiting on God
As we have discussed this morning, God has never lost a battle, and He is the God of a second chance. But why? BEcause as discovered in today’s new series, “Waiting on God” by Charles F. Stanley, God will never let us down. For Deuteronomy 31:6 and 8 confirm, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.... The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” REmain forward, focused and following in faith (and not fear) and favor my friend, for the Father hears and knows and has a plan for our lives that is exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever ask or think.
John 1:14
In like manner, as Jesus came that we might live, may we allow the Word of Christ to live in us through our actions as we live and love along our JOurneY in life. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Trust that He is trustworthy, tried and true this Tuesday, my friend.
