Daily Devotional for December 21, 2020

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Last night I just told a group I’m associated with that I have come to the REalization that my book will BE completed in God’s timing. For the past year or longer (I’ve truly lost track), I have set dates of when I anticipated to finish, but it hasn’t happened. I’ve gotten frustrated and quite honestly tired of it, but as Osteen says this morning, “God wouldn’t have given the dream if He didn’t already have a plan to bring it to pass.” As Isaiah 40:31 says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” I know God’s timing is always perfect and I’ll wait patiently for Him to REnew my mind to focus on bringing my dream to completion. For He is the ultimate Author and Finisher; I’m just the stenographer along my life’s JOurneY as He guides me along the way.

Jeremiah 15

Not only did I have a conversation with a group, I also engaged my siSTAR last evening, wondering what is going on with my heart, and as I’m always convinced, I knew God would give me a word this morning. He says in Jeremiah 15:11, “I will take care of you...”. And like Jeremiah speaks of in verse 16 and 18, I discovered His words, and I devour them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, but I do wonder why my suffering continues. Yet as always, God answers, and showed me in verse 19, I just have to continue to REmain in Him, and “This is how the Lord responds: ‘If you return to me, I will restore you...’”. Now if that’s not confirmation for me, then I don’t know what it is. For in that scripture I REceive that God is going to see my book titled “REstore the Joy: A Transformation T.H.R.O.U.G.H. Confirmation” to completion, and my heart to REceive my forever love.

REflection from Elisha: a Tale of Ridiculous Faith

As we close out the last message from “Elisha: A Tale of Ridiculous Faith”, I claim that 2021 will BE a year of ridiculous faith for me and set the standard for years to come! Will you join me? As Pastor Groeschel says, “It’s time to get ridiculous like Elisha and stop holding back. It’s time to start taking risks and making decisions that the world might not understand.” I have made some, but now I’m committing to consistent radical faith. May I have patience like Job and Faith like Elisha, for my latter will BE greater and my BEst is yet!

Matthew 1:21

Let us BE forever grateful for His birth that gave us each a REbirth and REstoration of life with Him. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Miracles are in the making this Monday, my friend.
