Daily Devotional for September 16, 2021
“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
Acts 20:24 NKJV
As we continue along life’s JOurneY, we are encouraged by Osteen to REmain consistent and not BE moved. As He continues to speak about BEing anchored in the Lord, he says, “Sure there will be waves, winds, and changing tides, but you’re consistent—your hope is in the Lord.” The Lord will direct our paths, REgardless of the situation. We must REmain anchored and weather the storms, for they won’t last and will pass.
James 4
Let us not BE afraid to ask of the Lord whatever our hearts desires, for James 4:2-3 states, “…Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss…”. Speak freely and open to the Father, for He already knows your thoughts.
REflection from Strength in God’s Presence
Today we BEgin the devotional series, “Strength in God’s Presence” by Gather Ministries. The message today says, “He will give you strength. He will show you the way.” We all come to a place in life where we seem to BE consumed with darkness and all alone. Yet today’s message comes as a REminder that God is always near. The message says, “He will give you strength. He will show you the way out. And He will stay with you until you decide to take the step, the attempt to rise. He is not leaving your side.” No matter how hurt, low, or afraid you might BE, that smallest inkling of hope is your anchor in the Lord. That little something that just will not let you completely give in, that’s the Spirit. We only have to have mustard seed faith, and He will see us through in His timing, but it’s up to us to take the first step in faith for Him to bring us out.
