Daily Devotional for July 1, 2021

“And God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

It is literally a new season for me today, a new month, a new day, with new BEginnings, new opportunities, and new blessings. I BEgin a new position along my career path this day. Today’s scripture is found in 2 Corinthians 9:8 and REads, “And God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” God has prepared me for THIS day that I never imagined in my life, and to paraphrase Osteen’s message today, I never would have chosen what I’ve been T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) but when I see how God turned it to my advantage to open new doors, I wouldn’t change it. I am a BEliever and convinced that God is taking me into my destiny. What about you?

Genesis 28

Like Jacob in Genesis 28:20 and 22, let us vow to ourselves knowing that God is with us and in everywhere we go and in everything we do…therefore in all that He provides let us REturn a portion—a tenth—to Him.

REflection from Closer to God Each Day

Meyer focuses on the fact today, “If we change our words, we can change our life! Our mouth gives expression to what we think, feel, and want…1 Corinthians 2:16, the Word of God teaches us that we have the mind of Christ and that we hold the thoughts, feelings, and purposes of His heart.” What will you BElieve this day that you will think and speak this day that will change your life and possibly that of others? REmember, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” (Proverbs 18:21). Let’s choose life this day and each day.
