Daily Devotional for November 28, 2020

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalms‬ ‭139:13‬ ‭

John P. Kee’s song, “Life and Favor” came to mind as I read Osteen’s words this morning. I don’t know all of your story and you don’t know all of mine. We don’t always look like what we’ve BEen T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, REgrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) along life’s JOurneY. I’m grateful to now BE able to go through difficult times in life, embrace them, and REalize trouble won’t last always. I can REst assured that weeping may endure for a night but JOY will come in the morning. As we go through life’s challenges God provides us with the strength to get over obstacles, not just physically, but most importantly mentally. As I continue to REiterate, walking with Him allows us to REst assured that everything we go through will work for our good and prepares us for what is to come. May we stay the course, understanding it’s our race at our own pace, for He has unique REwards ahead if we just persevere and endure.

Exodus 32

Unlike the people in Exodus 32, which grew weary in waiting for Moses to REturn, let us BE patient with the process and progression of our lives in Christ Jesus. May we REalize that a delay is not a denial. Today is yet a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies and new opportunities. “Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, that He may bestow on you a blessing this day...” (Exodus‬ ‭32:29‬).‭

REflections from Ready to Unlock the Kingdom of God

There is a quote by Roy T. Bennett, “You were born to stand out, stop trying to fit in.” This is how things are for us living our lives for Christ. We don’t walk like others, talk like others, give like others, and love like others. As Paul Marc Goulet emphasized in his text, “We love God, but our society loves money, objects, and titles. We love people, but our world places people at the bottom of priorities.” However, as followers we know it’s not the tangible things that matter in life, as Romans 14:17 encourages us, but “...righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Live unapologetically and know you will not BE accepted nor loved by all, but in the words of Dr. Seuss, “Be who you are...because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”

Numbers 6:26

May we go in peace loving our lives focused on Him and His will for our lives. His favor ain’t fair but what God has for you is for you, and what He has for me is for me. May we BE accepting, for what He has for us is all a part of His plan. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Success is a source of sacrifice this Saturday, my friend.
