Daily Devotional for January 30, 2020

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff— they comfort me.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

I just REminded own of my clients last night that if what she was doing was so easy, everyone would be doing it. When we choose to change, we have to BEcome comfortable with the uncomfortable. When we choose to change, we will face challenges— physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Those low places REquire us to activate our faith like never BEfore. These are the times when we REalize as Osteen says, “It may not be easy, but faith is trusting in God when life doesn’t make sense. Dare to believe that He’s blessing you even in the dark places. Believe that what’s meant for your harm is going to work to your advantage.”

Habakkuk 2

As we continue to JOurneY along, we must BE sure to keep our focus ahead. God has promised that even when we experience valleys low, our latter will BE greater. That confirms He has plans for us, not to harm us but to prosper. Yet faith without works is dead. Therefore as the Lord speaks to us in Habakkuk 2:2-3 encouraging us, “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that a runner may read it. For there is still a vision for the appointed time; it speaks of the end, and does not lie. If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay”(Habakkuk‬ ‭2:2-3‬ ‭NRSV‬‬). Once we do what He says, then we must trust and BElieve in all things in His timing.

REflection from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce

Part of the prayer from the 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce devotional said, “Daily, I am receiving the fullness of your Word and it is causing me to become mature in every area. Show me today where and how I can grow in my spiritual walk and how I can help someone else grow in theirs!” I do feel an evolution each day in my life. I desire to grow stronger and closer to Him. I also want to seek every opportunity to share in His love with others as I travel along life’s way. I pray He leads me to individuals and platforms to speak of my transformation and use my life as a testament of faith.

Isaiah 55:1

We only have to accept the invitation. There is no cost to BE filled. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

See the vision, speak those things, and seek the Savior this Saturday, my friend.
