Daily Devotional for January 31, 2021

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Psalms‬ ‭23:5‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

I fell asleep last night BEfore REading my nightly devotionals, but when I woke up in the middle of the night, I saw a text from my siSTAR saying, “Look at that action step (from the REading)!” Thinking of only REturning to sleep, I was moved to rise up and REad. After REading, it was evident that I needed to follow through with praying about an upcoming decision in my life, but also, BEcause it is now morning, I must go ahead and REad my devotional for this new day. As I have done so, it is clear that God is already providing me with the wisdom I prayed for. Osteen’s devotional speaks about David this morning, and how “You have to go through the loneliness, through the sickness, through the betrayal before you get that fresh anointing , that new beginning.” It’s then that God is testing us, for during our lowest we must depend on mustard seed faith.

Yet, when we are obedient with that little, we show that we can BE trusted, and little BEcomes much when it is placed in His hands. He desires to Ephesians 3:20 everything in our lives. As we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) He goes BEfore us to prepare the table for our next feast from the harvest, for a shift is needed and REstoration is needed in order to REceive the overflow.

Habakkuk 3

Sometimes we cannot see the forest for the trees, but even then, as in Habakkuk 3, we must trust in Him and have JOY. “Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and makes me tread upon the heights. To the leader: with stringed instruments”

‭‭(Habakkuk‬ ‭3:17-19‬). No matter what things may look like to (wo)man, God equips us to rise to higher heights, and whatever He leads us to, He will keep and lead us through.

REflection from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting:The Sauce

Today’s message from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce speaks about RElationships. I’m so grateful for the RElationships I have established and continue to establish along life’s JOurneY. As I’ve grown closer to Christ, I’m grateful to know and experience the connection with others through Him in both my personal and professional endeavors. My word for this year is “alignment”, and He is doing just that in this first thirty-one days of this new year. As I continue to move forward I am glad to know that bridges have not BEen burned, and I am able to REturn to people and places if my destination forward REdirects me. I pray that in this season, more RElationships will BE ordained to keep me forward, focused, and following in His will for my life.

Proverbs 16:3

Jeremiah 29:11 confirms that He has a plan for us. We don’t have to know what the future holds; we only must trust in the One who will lead us to and through.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

See what the Savior is saying and solidifying for you this Sunday, my friend.
