Daily Devotional for November 20, 2020
Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you. Deuteronomy 8:5
As soon as I REad Osteen’s devotional this morning I thought of the quote by Mahatma Gandhi, “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. …We need not wait to see what others do.”. Osteen encourages us this morning to work on ourselves and to change our attitude and develop our character allowing us to BEcome polished and not focused on others who are not within our control.
Exodus 24
May we BE obedient like Moses and the Israelites, following God’s covenant, but may we BE bold and go alone, as Moses in Exodus 24, when God calls upon us to do His will placed upon us to help lead others along the way.
REflections from Practicing Gratitude
Today’s entry from Practicing Gratitude encourages us to REmember in EVERYTHING we must give thanks, and in this life we must BE appreciative of things but BEing appreciative of others is just as important. As I’m REminded, we may BE the only Bible that some people will ever REad, and our words of gratitude may BE the one thing that makes the difference in someone’s life.
Hebrews 13:5
Money is known as the root of all evil, but Christ is the root of abundant life and prosperity. His love, presence, and gifts are never changing and everlasting.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Feed on the fruits of your own labor from the Father and work to forego any other that feels forced upon you this Friday, my friend.
