Daily Devotional for May 22, 2021

“I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Revelation 1:18

Mighty and powerful words have BEen spoken by Joel Osteen in today’s message from “Daily Readings From All Things Working For Your Good”. He said, “If you’re never put under pressure, if you never have to stretch your faith, endure, overcome, and persevere, you won’t tap into the treasures God put on the inside.” That pressure, that stretching—getting uncomfortable with the comfortable allows us to truly grow and activate our faith. It isn’t always a REsult of the enemies or others; sometimes we have to cause it for ourselves. Don’t get caught in a comfort zone and block your blessings. Even if only mustard seed faith, walk boldly in it.

Acts 16

As the jailer inquired in Acts 16:30-31, “What must I do to be saved?” As it was then and is now, we just must BElieve on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Activate your faith and follow the Father.

‭‭REflection from Starting Your Day Right Devotional

Dwelling in the past won’t change anything, but REflecting allows us to see what lessons God was providing to work for our good. In today’s message from Joyce Meyer, she speaks to how dread is a RElative of fear. She says, “The devil tempts us with dread to get us to confess fear instead of faith.” Many times we dread doing something BEcause we don’t truly know the outcome—we must activate our faith. The scripture from 1 John 4:18 REminds us that love drives out fear. Meyer encourages us to take comfort and says, “Enjoy your day, knowing that God loves you perfectly.” He is always with us and His love is unchanging. We have nothing to fear nor dread, for He will work everything for our good.

Proverbs 18:21

With Christ guiding us, we have power over ourselves. Speak life over yourself for you are your number one fan or worse critic. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
