Daily Devotional for June 11, 2021

You’re a tree replanted in Eden, bearing fresh fruit every month, never dropping a leaf, always in blossom. Psalm 1:3 MSG

The scripture associated with today’s devotional is from Psalm 1:3, and says, You’re a tree replanted in Eden…always in blossom.” Know that you are alive, and you shall live in the moment with no REgrets. Each moment is an opportunity to BEgin again. As with change, growth is inevitable in this life. Osteen says, “Your best days are not your yesterdays; they are still out in front of you.” We spend a lot of time REflecting on the past, but I encourage us to BE excited about what’s to come, for our BEst is yet to come. As Osteen emphasizes, “You’re about to bloom, you’re about to blossom, you’re about to flourish.” Your breakthrough is on it’s way.

Genesis 8

No matter how difficult things may seem, the Lord said in his heart in Genesis 8: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.” However, we have a REsponsibility, and that is to care for each other and our surroundings so that the earth endures. Love and be love; give and BE given unto. Live and let live.

REflection from Battlefield of the Mind

Since the death of my father, as I study the bible, more and more of what he said and did makes sense. As the old folk say, “We’ll understand it better by and by.” In Meyer’s devotional, she says, “Jesus promised us a life of abundance (see John 10:10). But we can't enter into that abundance if we're not giving our lives fully to Him. Don't spend today planning tomorrow and avoiding the issues that confront you now.” I also learned something important about life as I sat with my father each day until he transitioned; we must LIVE in the moment with no REgrets. As I encourage others around me each day, today I encourage you to enJOY the present, for it is truly a gift. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised. LIVE today, and HEAL this day, if necessary.

John 14:1

Trials will come, but trouble won’t last with the Trinity. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Forever faithful is our Father, my friend.
