Daily Devotional for December 12, 2020
“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.” Isaiah 40:29 NLT
Let us not just have thoughts of our faith; let us activate our faith. Osteen speaks this morning that we must show God we mean business by putting action behind our faith, for the Bible states faith without works is dead. To take it further, seeing is BElieving. So on this day whatever you are hoping for that you have yet to see, take a step toward toward it, for it is yours. It shall BE in the appointed time. You have named it now claim it in action. Let your thoughts BEcome your words and then your actions and call into existence the things that do not exist (Romans 4:7).
Jeremiah 6
Are you at a crossroad this morning with situations in your life or even with your faith? Jeremiah 6:16 speaks to how God gives us warnings. Are you listening or are His signs to you falling on deaf ears or are you turning a blind eye? Jeremiah 6:16 “This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls...”. God gives us subtle nudges, and then He has to give us gut punches. It’s time to activate your faith and move towards or REturn to Him this day.
REflection from Elisha: a Tale of Ridiculous Faith
As we continue this morning with a message from Pastor Groeschel, we find the REminder again that we must put action BEhind our faith. Today’s message from Groeschel says, “Real faith works and believes big, but you must be willing to start small. The size of your vision isn’t intimidating to God. Many don’t think big enough, but even more won’t start small...You can’t expect God to give you big things if you won’t start small. Believe big. Start small. Put your faith into action...”. Let’s put in some work today for our lives, no matter how big or small.
lLuke 12:40
Let us stay REady—trusting, BElieving and walking by faith—so we don’t have to get REady. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Square up this Saturday and shoot your shot, my friend.
