Daily Devotional for December 11, 2020

Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My child, your sins are forgiven.” Mark‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

There is a saying, seeing is BElieving, and I also say you can show someone better than you can tell them who you are. Do you outwardly demonstrate your faith? Osteen tells us this morning that “God is looking for people who have faith that He can see—not just hear, not just believe, but a faith that is visible, a faith that is demonstrated. Today I encourage you to literally walk by faith, trusting and BElieving that God is going to show up and show out in your life. Moreover, I charge you to physically walk in faith. Take a big leap and do something to BEgin manifesting a thought or dream in your life. Let your actions speak louder than words today and for days to come.

Jeremiah 5

Let us truly walk in faith and know that we will have sunshine and rain along life’s JOurneY. “Let us live in awe of the Lord our God, for he gives us rain each spring and fall, assuring us of a harvest when the time is right” (Jeremiah‬ ‭5:23-24‬ ‭NLT‬‬). We cannot not grow into who He has for us to BEcome without the rain. Let us patiently await the harvest He is preparing for us to feast upon—the harvest of plenty that will go BEyond what we have thought or imagined.

REflection from Elisha: A Tale of Ridiculous Faith

As we REmain forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and favor—in our waiting, let us BE like Elisha as spoken about today by Pastor Groeschel. “God used Elisha as a conduit of His love to help meet the needs of others. Like Elisha, God often uses us as a conduit of His love to help those in need.” During this season of giving, and any opportunity we have, let us BE a blessing to someone else, even if it is just a gentle smile or a kind word to let them know they are loved.

John 8:12

May we accept the eternal flame to burn within us and radiate for others to feel, and direct us along life’s JOurneY each day. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

The flame of the Father in you is fueled by your faith this Friday and each day, my friend.
