Daily Devotional for December 10, 2020

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:31‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The BEst way for us to get over something in life is to actually get under it—get down to the root of things and lift it up in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 4:31 is the RElated text to Osteen’s message this morning which REads, “Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.” As the messages have continued to REiterate, we can’t heal if we don’t dig down deep and REveal, and forgiveness is for you and me not the one who has come against us. REmember, God is our vindicator. John 10:10 says the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy but our Father assures us of abundant life if we just trust Him.

Jeremiah 4

Jeremiah 4 continues to emphasize the importance of uprooting that which is keeping us from letting go. As our Lord said to the people of Judah and Jerusalem, our Father encourages us to “Plow up the hard ground of your hearts! Do not waste your good seed among thorns” (Jeremiah‬ ‭4:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬). Let us not plant or stay planted among people and things that keep us from JOY, peace, and prosperity. Let go and let God have His way.

REflection from Elisha: A Tale of Ridiculous Faith

As Pastor Craig Groeschel continues to speak about Elisha’s unwavering faith in the Father, he poses questions for our REflection. “How committed are you to God? Are you fully committed or just committed when it’s convenient for you?” As we go about our days, let us work to REmain fully committed to His Will and His way for our lives.

Galatians 6:2

Let us love and lift along this JOurneY of life, sharing in one another’s burdens, but let us not BEcome weighted down or rooted in it. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Trash those thoughts and things that cause tarrying from trusting the Father and His timing for all that is to come in your life this Thursday, my friend.
