Daily Devotional for August 29, 2020
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29
As we continue along our glorious adventure, may we not grow tired from the transition nor weary from the wait. God’s plans for our lives has been, is, and will BE perfect. As Matthew 11:28-29 states He will give us REst when we are tired and strength when we grow weary. All that He has in store for us is worth the wait.
Job 39
As we JOurneY through life may we not forget the smallest of things that He does for us and through us in this life.
1 Corinthians 13:11 says, When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a (wo)man, I put away childish things.“ Growth and maturity is important, but there is one thing that we should hold on to from our childhood, and that is our BElief in ourselves. When we were children we BElieved we could do and BEcome anything. We had not experienced things or interacted with others that made us think otherwise. May we REnew our minds in Christ and REturn to the thoughts of our youth, REminding and REmembering and REstoring the thoughts and BElief that we can do all things through Christ.
Matthew 6:3-4
Let us not seek REcognition in doing for others, but let us focus on doing what is REquired to REap the REward our Father will provide for all the unknowns man cannot and will not see. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Start with the smallest act of service and sow seeds this Saturday, my friend.
