Daily Devotional for August 28, 2020
“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.” Exodus 14:15
As God told Moses to tell the Israelites, “Move on!” We must stop marinating in misery. We are not a piece of dead meat, for in Him do we live, move, and have our being. He came that we may have LIFE, and have it MORE ABUNDANTLY! You may BE down today, but you won’t BE down always, for trouble doesn’t last always. You must choose to change; you must choose you. God has already done so, but He’s waiting on your to REalize yet again that, in Osteen’s words, “God is going to make the rest of your life the best of your life.” God is only strengthening you, for trials come to make us strong(er). There’s a song by William Murphy that says, “Arise, oh God, and take your place.” May we mimic our Father and arise out of misery, defeat, depression, and frustration, and take our place as children of The Most High God and walk into what He has in store for us in faith and not fear of the unknown, for we can REst assured that He has a plan for us to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Job 38
Job 38 only shows and confirms that there is no one greater, no one more powerful, and no one mightier than our God. He was, is and will REmain and REign supreme.
Change your mind change your life. We must take captive every thought in our lives and know that God will work everything for our good. We cannot control everything in life, but we can control our own mind. Choose Christ and choose you. Choosing Christ provides REstoration. Choosing you causes REjuvenation and REinvention of you. Let go of what was, and embrace what is and is yet to come as we walk this glorious adventure with our Father. Today is the day He has given us to BEgin again within.
Romans 8:28
Those trials, tests, and tears, along with those triumphs, testimonies and treasures are all part of His master plan for your life, BEcause in him the REst of your life will BE the BEst of your life. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Faith it until you make it this Friday, my friend.
