Daily Devotional for December 18, 2020
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33 NLT
We must always BE about our business when following God. As this morning’s devotional encourages us, we must always seek Him in whatever we plan to do. And speaking of planning to do, the PDCA/PDSA cycle of business aligns right with our faith walk. As with Osteen’s father, we know faith without works is dead, therefore, as with the steps in the PDCA/PDSA cycle, we can have a PLAN, but we must DO—putting action in place without knowing what the outcome will truly BE. As we do we must then continue to REmain steadfast and CHECK or STUDY ourselves approved, trusting that God will provide (exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever ask or think), and watch Him ACT on our BEhalf.
Jeremiah 12
While we go about doing the work along this glorious adventure, we will encounter challenges. The Lord REsponds to Jeremiah questioning His judgment in chapter 12:4-5 saying, “How long must this land mourn? Even the grass in the fields has withered. The wild animals and birds have disappeared because of the evil in the land. For the people have said, “The Lord doesn’t see what’s ahead for us!” “If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?” So as I continue to REmind us, we must go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, REgrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) for our breakthrough. God has a purpose for our pain for it is preparing us to not waiver, but BE steadfast and immovable, as we pursue our passion, walking in our purpose and prosper.
REflection from Elisha: a Tale of Ridiculous Faith
What have you BEen blinded to that is preventing you from truly walking in your passion and purpose and in the will of God? Pastor Groeschel provides words of assurance this morning saying, “No matter what you have been blinded to, God can open your eyes to help you see the truth. All you have to do is ask Him and open yourself up to allow Him to open your eyes.” Sometimes the truth hurts, but I cannot emphasize enough that it is part of the process, and we may ensure some pain BEfore pleasure. Allow yourself to heal by REvealing what you have allowed to blur or blind your vision along your walk with Christ. Allow Him to not only REstore your sight, but your vision to walk in His plan.
Isaiah 12:2
Fear is not a factor with faith in the Father. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
The Force is in your favor this Friday, my friend.
