Daily Devotional for February 9, 2021

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Today’s scripture connected with Osteen’s message comes from 2 Corinthians 5:17. It says, “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new creature. The old life has gone; a new life has begun.” As we have learned through messages BEfore and experiences, we have to lose to win. Let us keep a positive perspective as we grow more and more in Christ. The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but our Father comes to plant us, bless us exceedingly abundantly, and develop things in our lives for us to prosper.

Philippians 2

As we go about each day, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others (Philippians‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬).

REflection from Dreams Redeemed

In today’s message, Harmony Grillo says, “God cares about us, and He cares about our dreams. He cares enough that He is willing to redirect us away from what we think we want, so that He can lead us into what He has for us.” May we truly learn to stop fighting with the enemy and sometimes our “inner me”, and let God lead us to our destiny. For as the scripture says, “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him—”(1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬). We can only imagine what we want to BEcome, but God can do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever ask or think.

Luke 16:10
