Daily Devotional for January 6, 2020

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:37‬ ‭NIV‬

A positive perspective along your JOurneY is critical. If no one else, you have to BE your number one fan, for the only person REsponsible for you and your actions is you. As I have grown and as I continue to faith walk, I am constantly REminding myself that all things will work for my good, and God is going to work everything in my favor. But not only do I REmind myself of that, I have circle maker friends—those who are BElievers, who are likeminded and help me keep that perspective. I have gotten to the point when the enemy is busy trying to disturb my life, that I know another blessing must BE on the way. As Osteen mentions this morning, “The problem is that you’re isolating single incidents.” Let REmember, those challenges are only one piece of the master plan for our lives. Those pieces go along with the others to make us strong. We need a little tension to keep our attention and REfocus if necessary along this glorious adventure.

Jeremiah 31

God is the Great I Am—He’s present, and He is REstoring those who trust and BElieve in Him. As in Jeremiah 31:4 and 9, the Lord says, “I will build you up again, and you...will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with the joyful.... They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble...” The time is now to BE in the present, for it is truly a gift from God. The time is now to BEgin again. Let Him REstore the JOY in you. REjoice today, for you shall REcover all that has BEen lost in your mind.

REflection from Winning Attitudes

Along life’s JOurneY we will encounter persecution. Bella Pillai says, “There will definitely be hurt, but if Jesus could ‘despise the shame’ that was thrown upon Him so can we. If Paul could reach out to those who hurt him and transform them that is our charter....”. She goes further to encourage us to truly live up to the word and obey Christ and His call implicitly. We should die to self and live for Him. This life is truly not our own, and we must let go and let God have His way for He is the Author, Illustrator, and Master of our faith; the One who knows all and works all for our good.

John 1:14

Jesus came to earth so that we might live, full of grace and truth. Let us never run on empty, but seek the Father to BE filled each day. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Walk in wisdom and wellness in the Word without worry this Wednesday, my friend.
