Daily Devotional for September 15, 2020
“These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.” Revelation 3:7
Kurt Carr’s song, “For Every Mountain”, has BEen on my mind and in my heart since my morning walk on Sunday. That day I was so overJOYed with all that the Lord was allowing in my life, especially the opportunity to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. It still REsonated even yesterday when I BEcame overwhelmed with my children’s remote learning, my own work zoom sessions and assignments associated with my profession, as well as personal tasks I had to complete. But I have learned to BE grateful and thankful for it all, BEcause all of it is a conglomeration of blessings in my life.
Joel Osteen’s devotional (as usual) provided me with confirmation. The scripture for today’s devotional REminded me that He gives freely unto us; and our God is such a gentleman. He opens and closes doors for us. “What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open” (Revelation 3:7). Osteen says, “God can see the big picture for our lives...a big part is trusting God when you don’t understand why things happen the way they do.” I can truly say that I am encouraged by my friend, Michelle, who constantly REminds me to “REmain BEhind the wheel of my own success”, but I no longer forge ahead without my G.P.S., for God’s Plans Supersedes.
Deuteronomy 2
As in Deuteronomy 2, may we stay in the course that God is navigating us through without worry, for in His appointee time, He will direct us to all He has in store for our lives. Do not grow weary in the waiting.
I have BEen professing to others that this is my season. I have spoken how I BElieve I am on my way to BEing debt free. On Sunday evening I was speaking to a friend about how since I have BEen on my own after separation and divorce, I ALWAYS pay my tithes without hesitation or REservation. And now, since God has afforded me an opportunity to build my own business (which I consider a ministry), I take 10% and sow into others. Well, today’s final devotional from Faithspring has given me confirmation yet again. It said, “God is ready and able to bless your obedience. He is ready to send His miracles, honor your prayers, and multiply your sacrifices.” I BElieve it and REceive it! I have BEgun something by listening and BEing obedient, and I know He is going to bless me exceedingly abundantly more than I can ask or imagine.
Philippians 2:13
May we allow Him to use us as His vessel and BE obedient to do what He would have us to do for the betterment of others and for ourselves. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Trust Him and trek on towards your trajectory this Tuesday, my friend.
