Daily Devotional for January 22, 2021

“Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house, bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NIV‬

Life is truly a course. It is not only a route, but it is where we REceive instruction to grow and develop. As Osteen mentions in today’s message, as with Moses, “The dark places was a prerequisite for his stepping into the fullness of his destiny, and it’s a prerequisite for us as well.” When we are in that place, unable to see, feeling alone, no where to turn, and REady to give up, that’s the preparation period. Though we’re unable to see, we BEgin to understand what faith is (the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen). As we are alone we REalize He’s the only one with whom we can depend. When there’s no where to turn we learn to BE still and know that He is God, and when we give up we REalize we can look up to Him. As with Moses, let us embrace our dark places, for as Osteen said, they prepare us, developing patience, humility, strength, and trust—the prerequisite for what is to come along life’s JOurneY.

Jeremiah 47

As in Jeremiah 47, may we take heed to the warning signs that our Father is conveying BEfore we face destruction and devastation in our lives.

REflection from Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce

In all that we do, we shall focus in on God. Wisdom come from experience. May we seek Him first for knowledge that comes by His word and His direction for our lives. May we seek Him first to guide us to what and to whom can help us along our glorious adventure in life.

Matthew 5:14

As our Father shines upon the world, may we let our light shine brightly upon this who enter into our lives that they may experience the warmth of our Father’s love. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Face forward and fight in faith this Friday, my friend.
