Daily Devotional for May 12, 2020

The LORD will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. PSALM 121:7–8

We all have God given gifts; we just need to completely unwrap them. May we not ever question what we can do. Whatever He has for me is for me, and whatever He has for you us for you. No matter how simple or complex, He has placed things uniquely in us to use to propel us forward in life. May we not underestimate what we are capable of doing. Each of us should use whatever gift we have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms (1 Peter 4:10). Osteen REminds us that God knows what He is doing. He can see the big picture...”. Let us give of our time, treasures, but shall we not forget our talents as we walk along our JOurneY of life.

Psalm 133

May we strive to work together in collaboration, using our time, talent and treasure for the upbuilding of His kingdom here on earth together, for it is good and pleasant when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalms‬ ‭133:1‬)

As we go about each day, may we trust our hearts to our Father, and may we ensure to take captive every thought in our mind. Frank Outlaw is quoted with saying, “Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions...” Lisa Singh speaks to how the enemy tries to get to our mind and thoughts, because he knows that God has REnewed and protects our hearts. May we REmember that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. We must keep it consumed so there’s no room for him to enter in. Singh ended her message this morning with a quote by James Allen: “You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.”. God has a purpose and a plan for your life; let His Word navigate your way.

Hebrews 10:23

May we REmember that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. May we not grow weary as we wait upon the Lord and his timing to bring our hopes to pass. For He is faithful and shall never fail us. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Take your talent along your trek this Tuesday, my friend.
