Daily Devotional for September 11, 2021

“Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, ‘That’s how many descendants you will have!’”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NLT

The point emphasized by Osteen in today’s devotional is that our God is a supernatural god. We are encouraged by today’s message not to drift in doubt, but REmain anchored in the Lord. Let us hope on faith as Abraham and Sarah, and like them our blessings will BE birthed in God’s perfect timing.

Joshua 23

As written in Joshua 23:8 and 10, “Cling tightly to the Lord your God as you have done until now. ….for the Lord your God fights for you, just as he has promised.” No battle is your; it BElongs to the Lord. He’s never lost a battle and never will.

REflection from Work and Wait

In today’s devotional from “Work and Rest” REpetition is emphasized. Psalm 136:25 is highlighted that His love endures. The writer goes on to say, “Repetition threatens to make our everyday life nearly intolerable” as adults, but children delight in things BEing done over and over again. As stated by the author, “Jesus invites us to return to a childlike relationship with God. In the process, we rediscover a child's---and God's---delight in repetitive acts of re-creation.” So grateful for a new day, with new mercies, new blessings, and new opportunities, each day that He allows me to BEgin again.

Matthew 5:4

Even in our mourning, mess, and misery, we are blessed. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

The Savior is the source this Saturday, my friend.
