Daily Devotional for September 10, 2021
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 NLT
Every time I REad Isaiah 40:31 I get the clearest visual of an eagle soaring through the clear blue sky with no worry. A Osteen speaks this morning, he REminds us that we can BE that free of worry too. When matters arise as he encourages us, let us say, “Father, I thank you that the answer is on the way for whatever I need.” Even now as my focus goes to the words on my wall hanging I REceive confirmation that “worry ends where faith begins.”
Joshua 22
Let us take heed to the word in Joshua 22:5, “But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”
REflection from Work and Rest
Today I just want to share the prayer from “Work and Rest” which says, “Most Holy God, break my dependence on the false god of work. And restore me to a right relationship with you.” We can work ourselves to death, but we must REmember that God will supply all of our needs. Take a REst, my friend.
Psalms 145:18
Never to depart from our hearts nor our sides. Depending on him we never have to hide or lie.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Freedom is found in faith, my friend.
