Daily Devotional for October 2, 2020

“Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭27:23-24‬ ‭

Each day I am understanding more and more the importance of storms in our lives. I REmember as a child when a storm would approach we would unplug the television, get off the phone, and sit down or lie down somewhere. Hindsight BEing literally and figuratively 20/20, that gave us time to be still and BE quiet as the Lord would go His marvelous work. As with the story this morning with Paul, and as we have REalized this week, there are truly blessings in our storms. When the approach, we must prepare and change our normal perspective, and BE open to REceive what God alone is doing through it.

Deuteronomy 19

As we weather storms to our destiny, may we determine locations of REfuge so during these times we REmain confident that as we follow His laws—to love the Lord our God and to walk always in obedience to Him—then He will enlarge our territory, as He promised on oath to our ancestors (Deuteronomy‬ ‭19:8-9‬ ).

Sometimes we have to lose to win. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for our lives. Let us BE willing to let go of what we consider our most cherished possessions, as Abraham, knowing what we are willing to lose, our Father will bless us exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or imagine.

Psalm 16:11

Let us let go and let God lead us along His way so that we may experience all that He has planned and prepared of peace, prosperity and pleasure. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Follow with fearless fervent faith this Friday, my friend.
