Daily Devotional for January 13, 2020
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:6 NIV
Matthew 28:6 says, He is not here; he has risen just as he said. Come see the place where he lay.” Christ did the unthinkable then and is still working miracles today. As Osteen says, “He will turn our defeated Friday into good Friday.” Jesus suffered, bled, and died for us on Calvary—the ultimate sacrifice. Therefore, we should always trust Him with our lives, because there is nothing He is not willing to do for us. He is intentional and never failing. If your good Friday has not arisen in your life, know it is on the way. Keep the faith.
Jeremiah 38
As with Jeremiah in chapter 38, even when we are thrown into darkness with nowhere or no one to turn to, know that God is with us and will not fail us. He will always bring us out.
REflection from Divine Time Management
As I work with my life and health coaching clients, we BEgin to look at ourselves on the outside in order to BEgin our REstoration from the inside. Like today’s message from Divine Time Management, “The lie from the world is that our externals determine our identity—how we look, what we own, or what position we have. The truth from the Bible is that what we possess internally in Christ is what matters.” Many times in life we intentionally or unintentionally focus on what others are doing and saying. We sometimes try to BE like others, and in working and grinding, we unintentionally fall into traps of (wo)man’s ways. Yet when we REturn our focus within, working to process and BEcome or BE REstored to our BEst selves, we walk in what our Father wants us to BE. He wants us to “Live from identity not for identity...God wants us to use our time from a place of identity instead of for identity so that we can be completely secure in Him.”. For we BElong to Him. We are his first and always.
Matthew 5:10
We are blessed as we walk with our Father, but we must also REmember that in Christ we REceive double for our trouble when others come against us in our faith walk.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Wait without wavering this Wednesday for you will win and BE a witness, my friend.
