Daily Devotional for January 20, 2021

“Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God.” Isaiah‬ ‭50:10‬ ‭NIV‬

I am grateful to come to the understanding through my own personal experiences that “It is possible to gain blessings in the difficult times of darkness that we cannot gain in the light...if we have the right attitude, as stated by Osteen. At my lowest point I never would have imagined what I am living now. At the time where I was unable to make ends meet, I never could imagine where I am now. When I struggled to give twenty dollars in tithes, I never could imagine where I am now. When I was at my heaviest, I never could imagine where I am now. When my heart was broken, I never could imagine where I am now. All I can say is BUT GOD!

When I let go of my life and let Him have His way, He brought me out of darkness and into a marvelous light, and T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) it all, I truly learned to depend on Him and praise Him in advance for He has all power to bless me coming in and going out of all situations. His promises He has and continues to fulfill, and I know from experience that when challenges arise, there is a breakthrough not far BEhind.

Jeremiah 45

God did not promise that we would not go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) trying times in life, but as in Jeremiah 45:3 and 5, the Lord said, “I will bring disaster on all people, but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life.” In this life we will experience adversity, but our Father will always deliver us on time.

REflection from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce

Each and every day let us pray and continue to trust in His will and His way for EVERYTHING in our lives. Let us seek Him in all things, from decisions to the food we eat and the clothes we wear to the words we write and speak. Let us welcome Him to BE in all aspects of our lives.

Ephesians 6:18

There is one thing for certain in this life; no matter the circumstances, we have, can, and should pray in, through, and after all things. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Won’t you witness this Wednesday, my friend?
