Daily Devotional for January 19, 2021
“I cry out to God Most High, to God, who vindicates me.” Psalms 57:2 NIV
As Christians we have to REmind ourselves that it rains on the just and the unjust, and that there is a purpose for our pain. Osteen encourages us this morning saying, “If you’ll stay in faith, everything that was meant to stop you, God is going to use to push you forward.” If we REmain steadfast we will experience Him catapult us to a new level. Trials truly come to make us strong, and we must continually grow for with each new level there will BE a new devil working to keep us from what He has for our lives.
Jeremiah 44
Even when things don’t seem to BE going well from the looks of things from the human eye, as in Jeremiah 44:10, let us humble ourselves or show reverence, and follow His law and the decrees He set before us, knowing He will work everything for our good.
REflection from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce
As I REad today’s message from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce, a song by Donald Lawrence came to mind, Never Seen The Righteous. The lyrics go on to REcount Psalms 37:25, “...yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” When we truly depend on our Father, we don’t ever have to ponder for we can REst assured that He will prosper us—He promised. So as the devotional encourages us, “Rid your mind of distractions, overwhelming feelings and thoughts, and the busyness that comes with our daily lives and intentionally choose to lean into God’s presence.” If God has done it BEfore, He will do it again. Experience is truly the BEst teacher. As we enter into this day and each day, let us not worry, for He is Jehovah Jireh, our provider.
Galatians 6:9
Let us REmember that we REap what we sow. Whatever we give, it shall BE given unto us. When we do what is right, REpetition shall strengthen us not weaken us.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Take time to try something twice—do something again this Tuesday, my friend.
