Daily Devotional for February 13, 2021

“For his anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

I can feel the breaking of day—a new BEginning, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. There is a brighter day on the horizon for us. JOY is coming!

Ruth 2

Know that your sacrifice and service have not gone unnoticed. As in Ruth 2:12, “May the Lord reward you for your deeds, and may you have a full reward from the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge!”

REflection from Dreams Redeemed

The final devotional from Dreams Redeemed has given me that much more faith to keep holding on and trusting in God’s plan for my life. Harmony Grillo says, “...so much of my energy was spent trying to fix and control circumstances and the people around me in order to create a life as I would have it... striving to make my dreams come true.” Most would BE confused by this statement, thinking, shouldn’t one strive to make their dreams come true? But T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) it all I now REalize it is about God’s plan and not mine. Like Grillo, reminisced, I, too, at one point, found myself truly grieving and cried to God, “It didn’t turn out how I thought it would”. God listened. And then, He spoke to my heart. ‘I rescued you from your version of the dream... I will redeem the dream.’”

I’m so grateful that He has REstored the JOY in me, and now I am living the prayers I once prayed as He REdeems my dream according to His master plan for my life.

Philippians 2:5

Change your mind, change your life, for what doesn’t look right to man is a part of God’s plan. Let His lens lead you with love and loyalty, no matter how difficult things may look or seem.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
