Daily Devotional for February 12, 2021

“When my spirit is faint, you know my way. In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.” Psalms‬ ‭142:3‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

As the title of today’s devotional by Osteen REads, “Dare to trust Him.” There is no secret to what God can do. He can do all things but fail. We must REmember that as followers in faith, we will have some night seasons, some valley lows, yet as today’s scripture REminds us, “When my spirit is overwhelmed and weak within me [wrapped in darkness], You know my path” (Psalm 142:3). Let us trust our preparation period as these trying times are preparing us for triumphs to come in His perfect plan for our lives.

Ruth 1

As we continue along our glorious adventure I pray as in Ruth 1:8-9 that, “...the Lord show you kindness, as you have shown kindness.... May the Lord grant that each of you will find rest...”(Ruth‬ ‭1:8-9‬ ‭NIV‬‬). We must REmain steadfast knowing that our Father is with us and is patient and kind; moreover, He will not put more on us than we can bear.

REflection from Dreams Redeemed

What a powerful word from Harmony Grillo this morning?! She spoke, “God cares about our dreams. He cares about the longing in our hearts. If we let Him, He uses seasons of waiting to build our faith and draw us closer to Him as we share our longings. Sharing our dreams with God doesn’t mean we get everything we want. He isn’t our personal genie. But the very process of sharing our dreams with God draws us closer to Him.” As I REflect over the past three years, I can attest to what she said. In 2017 I truly BEgan to open up and share my intimate dreams and desires with our Father, and He has used the past few years as my season of waiting, as I commune with Him each morning, REading and meditating on His word. I’m growing by sharing on His word through daily devotionals and coaching. All of this has and continues to strengthen me, as I know He is preparing me for my latter and my best that I desire and exceedingly abundantly more in His perfect will.
