Daily Devotional for February 11, 2021
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 NIV
As we are working towards our goals and aspirations, striving to go where God is leading us, we can BEcome weary. Osteen encourages us to REmember during these times that, “Just because you don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean that God is not working. He doesn’t always show you what He’s up to.” REmain faithful and encouraged knowing He is making a way for He always goes BEfore us, stands with us, and is BEhind us in all that we do.
Philippians 4
Philippians 4 is full of encouragement to keep us forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and favor. “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.... “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.... Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:4, 6-9).
REflection from Dreams Redeemed
Along my faith walk I have truly learned that I have to BEcome uncomfortable with the comfortable so that I can move into what He has for me and not what I’ve planned for myself. Today Harmony Grillo says that God speaks to us saying, "Wake up, darling. Open your eyes. Come with me. I have something wonderful planned for you. In order for you to experience what I have in store for you, you can’t stay where you are. It’s time to move forward, my love." She encourages also saying, “Even when it disrupts our own plans and moves us out of our comfort zone. Even when it means that it’s time to let go of relationships, habits, or pain that has been holding us back—Trust Him.”
John 5:14
Some people were taught to never question God, but if we don’t ask (which is questioning) we cannot REceive. Trust that the Father hears and knows your heart. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
