Daily Devotional for August 16, 2020

Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. Psalms‬ ‭126:6‬ ‭

I’m in a completely different mindset than I was a few years ago. In 2017 when I was in an extremely low place and felt like I couldn’t even do for myself as my body and soul felt empty, I worked even harder to pour into others. By focusing in on serving and giving to others instead of worrying in my weariness, God BEgan to counterattack. Unlike the enemy, He used blessings on blessings to show me that when you give it shall be given unto you. As Osteen said this morning, “When you help others in your time of need, you are sowing a seed God can use to change your situation.” Today I can truly sit back as see that BEcause I focused on my faith and not my fear and frustration, He worked things for my good. My latter has and continues to BE proven to BE better, and I know my REaping will BE the best to come in my life!

Job 26

Our Father can do the unexplainable and unimaginable around us and in our lives. And as Job 26:13 supports, what we’ve had the opportunity to experience “...are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?” May we not limit our prayers and petitions BEcause we serve a Mighty God who holds all power in His hands.

As found in the message today from The Navigators, Oswald Chambers was quoted as saying, “Prayer is not preparation for the battle. Prayer IS the battle.” I can honestly say that prayer used to BE my last REsort, but experience has taught me that it must BE my first focus of the day and in every situation.

Zephaniah 3:17

Cast your cares upon Him when the storms of life seem to pour down on you, and He will calm the rage. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Stand with the Savior, your Solid Rock, this Sunday, my friend.
