Daily Devotional for December 15, 2020
Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”Mark 1:17 NLT
In the scripture for today’s devotional Jesus said, “Come follow me and I will send you out to fish.” We are a chosen people and we are called upon in different ways. No one understands the calling upon the direction of your life but the One above. In this life you may do things that others may not approve of or agree with, and in many instances, like the young preacher in Osteen’s message today, but know the hand of God is on your life. Walk by faith and not by sight knowing God will not lead you to what He can’t bring you T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, REgrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). Y.O.U. (You only understand) the voice or felt the touch from the Father to take a step in faith, and where He sends you, He will protect you and He will open doors for you
Jeremiah 9
.Let us follow God’s direction and not (wo)man’s thoughts for our lives. Jeremiah 9 speaks to judgment for disobedience. “The Lord replies, “This has happened because my people have abandoned my instructions; they have refused to obey what I said. Instead, they have stubbornly followed their own desires and worshiped the images of Baal, as their ancestors taught them.” (Jeremiah 9:13-14 NLT). Let us BE not only hearers but doers of God’s word and what He calls us to do as His willing vessel.
REflection from Elisha: a Tale of Ridiculous Faith
Today, Pastor Groeschel speaks to miracles God used Elisha to meet the needs of others. May we allow God to work through us, BEing a willing vessel to see things through that He has called us to do—even what might seem questionable or unthinkable. For we know with God, all things are possible when we trust and BElieve and walk by faith.
Matthew 5:16
Let us NEVER dim our light that God has placed in us to share with others. Each of us has a unique purpose and plan that works together for His good. Let us work to drive out darkness collectively in this world. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Take time to talk with Thee this Tuesday, my friend.
