Daily Devotional for June 18, 2021
God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds…” Exodus 13:17
Each day I’m learning more and more how to let go and let God. Proverbs 3:5-6 is the REminder, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” When you truly activate your faith, others, and sometimes even you, look at what you’re doing and think that you’re crazy, but in actuality, it’s not crazy but amazing. It’s just like the team building activity the trust fall. Basically, one member of a team is selected and they fall backwards relying on the support of their team to catch them. This activity is all about support and trust. How much do you trust God with your life to fall back and let Him have His way? Have your not seen and REalized how much He has done to support you along your JOurneY?
Today’s devotional by Osteen highlights another scripture that is in alignment with the one mentioned above. Exodus 13:7 says, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds…”. When we put our faith and trust in the Father, He will lead us where we need to go, and not necessarily where we want to go, because He knows what He has in store for our lives. It’s vacation season, and time for you to go from strategizing to the Savior. RElax with Him, RElate with Him, and RElease everything to Him.
Genesis 15
As the Lord REminded Abram in Genesis 15:1, let us never be afraid, for He is our shield, our very great reward. Our Father will not only protect us, but prosper us.
REflection from All Things Are Possible
Joyce Meyer’s final message from the series “All Things Are Possible” truly REminds us that faith without works is dead. As the title of this last message states, we must put our faith to work. Meyer BEgins saying, “Romans 12:3, says, ‘He has given you the faith to fulfill your destiny. He has given you grace for your place!’ In Christ, you are equipped to live each day by faith. And there is a strategy we can follow to make our faith effective: Pray, Say, and Act.” In this life we must depend on the Father, but we must do the work. Trusting in the Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost) REquires our trinity—pray about everything, speak of the Word, and do what is REquired. Faith it today and every day.
Galatians 5:14
May we give off what we want to REceive. Love and BE loved. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Faith it this Friday, my friend.
