Daily Devotional for August 13, 2020
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Osteen’s devotional, “Play in Pain” says, “We all have wounds, but you can’t let a loss, a health issue, or a divorce be your excuse to sit on the sidelines.” In my case, I changed the “or” in that statement and made it an “and” to stay in this game of life. Experiencing all three of those things at one time in my life a year ago could have literally taken me out, but keeping my perspective on God’s promises to me and REmaining forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and in favor has allowed my latter to be greater with nothing but winning seasons. May my life BE evidence enough to encourage you not to let the hurts and pains of life to weigh you down, but may you use them to pack up under your feet and lift you to the next level God has for your life’s JOurneY.
Job 23
May we REmember and RElish in the fact knowing that “many such plans He still has in store.” Let us REmain steadfast and REady to REceive. (Job 23:14)
May we strive each day to BE essential workers for Christ, working and serving in ways that are pleasing to Him. NEVER BEing ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life. Freely telling of His goodness and what He has done for us. When we speak of His goodness, may it welcomes other to touch and agree or tempt others to taste and see.
1 Peter 3:12
Know the Lord is omnipresent and attentive to you in an unwavering manner. We never have to worry or fret about BEing invisible and not heard. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Today is the day to trust Him more with your trajectory, my friend.
