Daily Devotional for December 8, 2020

“Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”” Mark‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

The scripture associated with my devotional from last night was from Matthew 19:26, “But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.” This morning Osteen’s devotional is associated with Mark 10:27, “Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.” I don’t know what you might be doubting, but I take this as a sign the God is REminding us that in all that we desire to BEcome and wherever we are destined to go, He can make possible. Let us not look to man but let us keep our faith and trust in Him.

Jeremiah 2

There is a common theme threaded through our devotionals today. Jeremiah 2 speaks to how people turned from the Lord, relying on their own ways and thinking of others, but the final verse gives a REminder, “From there also you will come away with your hands on your head; for the Lord has rejected those in whom you trust, and you will not prosper through them” (Jeremiah‬ ‭2:37‬)‬‬. Though we may seek advise from (wo)man, let us hold tight to His unchanging hand, directing us in the way we should go.

REflection from Yoke Breaking Anointing”

The final message from Vance K. Jackson’s “Yoke Breaking Anointing” solidifies the message our Father wants us to REmember this day and each day. There is only one way, one direction in this life, and that is with Christ. When you wonder, when you need, when you want and when you desire. There is the One who is the answer and the way in which we can always depend. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”

‭‭(John‬ ‭14:6‬).

Romans 12:12

May we BEgin each day in prayer and meditation REalizing each day we are afforded an opportunity to BE in JOY. Even in trials, let us keep the faith with expectancy knowing the hope we can depend on as He directs our lives. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

The only way is with Thee this Tuesday, my friend.
