Daily Devotional for September 10, 2020

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭

I am in the process of REbuilding my life, and BEcause of God’s grace and mercy, I know I’m BEginning with a solid foundation. On Christ the Solid Rock I stand. If you would have told me three years ago almost to the day that I would BE entering into the life of a divorced and single mom JOurneY, I would have most likely REsponded, how am I going to make it on my own? BUT GOD! I am so grateful that I truly learned to trust in Him and that I could REst assured that He would supply all my needs if I do His will, obey, and walk by faith and not by sight. As the scripture with Osteen’s devotional affirms, “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” ‭‭(2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬)

May we always REmember He is able! In all that we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, REgrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), Osteen REminds us, “God has given you grace for this season. If you weren’t up to this, God wouldn’t have brought it across your path...but the REward is coming.” For our latter WILL BE greater and our BEst is YET it come.

Ecclesiastes 9

As my life coach REminds me, may we do all things with JOY. “God has already approved what you do. So with a JOYful heart, enJOY life...with whom you love...for this is your lot in life...Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭9:7, 9, and 10). We all have gifts; may we not block our own blessings for not using what has BEen given specifically to us. For the race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong...but time and chance happen to them all.” ‭‭(Ecclesiastes‬ ‭9:11). It’s our time! It’s our season. Take a chance on yourself, for as with Job, the second half of your life shall BE the BEst half of your life.

Today’s devotional by Faithsprings speaks to Jeremiah 29, and how God calls the people to stay because “if [the land they are in] prospers, [they] too will prosper” (v.7). As I read this I thought of Psalms 46:10, “BE still and know that I am God...”. Sometimes when things get difficult we want to run, but if we are just still and let go and let God He will bring us through. For as further in Jeremiah 29:11, we are REminded, He has plans for us to prosper. REmain focused on your goals and know He will work everything for our good (Romans 8:28).

Proverbs 9:10

May we REverence the name of the Lord and the knowledge that He freely gives to us so that we may live a life of JOY, peace, and prosperity. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Take time to tap into your talents this Thursday, my friend.
