Daily Devotional for September 25, 2021
“God, our god spoke to us: ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. On your way now. Get moving.’” Deuteronomy 1:6
Is it time for you to move? Today’s devotional by Osteen lifts up Deuteronomy 1:6 saying, “God, our god spoke to us: ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. On your way now. Get moving.’” The message goes further to say, whether as a result of things going good or what seems like a tragedy has arisen, “To step out into the unknown is scary… but God loves you too much to let you miss your destiny…” Is it time? As the saying now goes, If you know, you know. Three years ago yesterday I spoke bold words to my family, without a tear or hesitation, when I thought I would shake from fear and cry. That was the Godfidence in my life that gave me the REassurance that it was time to shift, and take that bold step to truly live in my authenticity.
Today I REflect and am able to minister about my experience. As paraphrasing from today’s devotional, He put me in a situation that made me stretch, that made me grow, that made me spread my wings. What He did for me, He’ll do for you. Again, isn’t it time? Don’t delay your destiny another day. Need some encouragement? Check out my book, Restore The Joy: A Transformation Through Confirmation that allows you to read my experience of how He kept me, and how I learned to truly walk in faith and favor into my Father’s plan for my life.
Numbers 8
As with the Levites in Numbers 8, we must work, and continue what God has in store for our lives, but there will come a time where we will REst and assist our brothers and sisters along their own paths, using our knowledge and experience to encourage and lead them on.
REflection from I Am: 7 Keys to Unlock Your Future
Today’s message from “I Am: 7 Keys to Unlock Your Future” says, “God’s desire for you is to live in security and confidence rather than fear. But that lesson is one learned over time by facing trials and seeing God’s continued faithfulness.” We all know the saying, faith over fear. We must BEcome uncomfortable with the comfortable, and we must BE stretched in order to birth all that God wants to gift us. If it was easy, everyone would BE doing it, but you are a chosen one, and are secure in the Savior; success is in sight for you.
Proverbs 17:28
Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Therefore let us BE careful of the words we speak, for silence succeeds in certain situations. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Sit in silence some this Saturday, my friend.
