Daily Devotional for March 27, 2021

You, LORD, are my lamp; the LORD turns my darkness into light. 2 Samuel 22:29

Osteen highlights the following scripture this morning; “You, LORD, are my lamp; the LORD turns my darkness into light” (2 Samuel 22:29). As with Osteen, I too say this REspectfully, I thought the loss of my father, separation and divorce, moving abruptly, and being diagnosed with a medical condition would have been my darkest season, but has actually turned out to BE my brightest. I REcognized a strength that only came from trusting in the Lord. I truly opened up and was honest with Him about my heart and my dreams, and He has worked everything for my good. He hasn’t given me everything that I want, but He has (and continues to) bless me in ways I never imagined.

Esther 6

As the king in Esther 6, may we REcognize and give honor to those who have supported us and helped us along life’s JOurneY. Gratitude and grace are of the Father.

REflection from Dealing with Uncertainty

Today we BEgin a new series, “Dealing with Uncertainty”, by YouVersion. We know that God can work everything for our good, and as emphasized in Joshua 1:6, we must be strong and courageous. Today’s devotional gives us what I consider a mantra to help us through. It says, “Acknowledge your limitations, lay down your expectations, and pick up God’s declarations.” Let us always focus on what God declares for us—to prosper us and not to harm us; to BE with us and never forsake us.

John 1:29

Seek the One in all that you do to help in the good and bad to see you through.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Stay searching for the Savior in all situations this Saturday, my friend.
