Daily Devotional for November 16, 2020

Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭

Warning: when discomfort arises in your life, we must BEcome comfortable with the uncomfortable for a breakthrough is on the way—the overflow! Think about a damn which REaches a certain point after a number of consistent and treacherous storms and rains. It takes all the pressure it can, and then all of a sudden the pressure is unexpectedly REleased and the overflow occurs. It opens up and the waters rage. That’s the type of overflow God is preparing for you to REceive. Hang on in there. It’s only a matter of time.

Exodus 20

In Exodus 20:20, Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning” (Exodus‬ ‭20:20‬). This life has, is, and will BE full of tests. Each examination prepares us for the next goals and objectives for life. Therefore, our Father prepared us with a guide in which if we strive to obey and honor, we shall always experience His blessings upon our lives.

REflection from Jehovah Rophe

This morning Tony Evans speaks to how Israel had been miraculously taken out of Egypt, but it would take some time before Egypt could be taken out of the hearts of Israel. We BEcome so accustomed and comfortable with how we used to live, and even as we work to walk in faith we BEgin to REflect. But let us work to REmain forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and favor with our Father who has so much more in store for our lives. Change your mind, change your life. Change your focus, change your future.

James 5:13
